Fr. Pablito M. Tagura is a guest professor in Philosophy from the Philippines.  He professed perpetual vows as a member of the Society of the Divine Word in May 31, 1988.  He was ordained as a religious-missionary priest in December 17, 1988.  He just celebrated his silver jubilee in the priesthood last year.  Fr. Tagura has always been involved in seminary formation after ordination, particularly academic formation.  After further studies here in the US in 1997, he was assigned to Christ the King Mission Seminary, Quezon City, Philippines as professor of Philosophy.  He was appointed Dean of Studies in 1998 and still holds the same position up to now.  He concurrently served as Rector of the same seminary from 2005 until May of this year.  He is on sabbatical leave and chose to come to Divine Word College, Epworth to enrich his cross-cultural experience.
