Instructor of Theology
Fr. Akizou Kamina was born and raised in Togo (West Africa). After completing an undergraduate degree in Accounting and Management, Fr. Kamina joined the Society of the Divine Word in Togo in 2010. During his initial formation, he earned a BA in Philosophy and an Associate degree in Education Science. He came to the USA in 2013 to continue his formation at Divine Word College and in Chicago. Fr. Kamina earned a double major: MA in Theology- Interreligious Dialogue with primary focus in Islam and secondary focus in Judaism; and MDiv. from Catholic Theological Union in Chicago. He was ordained priest in May 2021 in Chicago.
