Raised and attended schools in Central Illinois. Became involved with Divine Word Missionaries in high school. Professed first vows as a Divine Word Missionary in 1974 and Perpetual Vows in 1981. He was ordained to the priesthood on December 12, 1981. Since ordination, he has worked as Vocation Director, Parish Pastoral Minister, Instructor of Theology, Formator, Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Clinical Psychology.
