The Department of Theology and Philosophy at Divine Word College Seminary invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Philosophy with the rank of Assistant Professor to begin in the Fall 2025 Semester. The initial contract is for one year and is renewable in three-year contracts. Teaching load: 24 credit hours per academic year (4-4 Fall-Spring schedule). |

Qualifications: |

Successful candidates will be generalists who hold a master’s degree or higher in philosophy and possess college teaching experience. The successful candidate will teach regularly in the college’s core curriculum and various courses, including Ethics, Environmental Ethics, Modern and Contemporary Philosophy, Logic and Critical Thinking, and Philosophy of Human Nature. Applicants must provide evidence of effective teaching, commitment to professional development and scholarship, ability to work with faculty and administration, and experience in an intercultural classroom environment. |
